Description of the programme
This course will enable you to be more effective in your advocacy work by considering and practising the skills, knowledge and preparation that make a positive outcome more likely.
The course identifies the key skills used in effective advocacy and provides attendees with an opportunity to practice and improve those skills. This is a specialist level course, aimed at advisers who are experienced in giving advice at caseworker level. Attendees need to have practical working knowledge of court procedures in dealing with money claims and repossessions
Pre-requisite learning
Each specific course may have its own pre-requisite learning.
Please visit the individual Wiseradviser course pages which will detail any pre-requisites that may need to be completed before attendance to a course.
Individual certification
Accreditation against a particular module is confirmed via the satisfactory attendance and completion of all the courses within that module. Progress for e-learning and virtual courses are always captured on the Wiseradviser learning management system (LMS).
This then forms the individuals learning record which is always accessible and transferable if they are to move organisations. Certificates for each completed course are also available for learners to download from the Wiseradviser LMS.
What are the outcomes?
This course is accredited to court representation level only. Court representation activity will involve an adviser making preparation for proceedings on behalf of the client, preparing the client for formal proceedings, and/or representing the client in formal proceedings in relation to their debts within the rights of audience for these proceedings.
